Miracles in Genesis

The book of Genesis contains 8 miracles:

• The Creation 
  • 1: 1 - 27
    • The One True God created the heavens and the earth by commanding them into existence from nothing. In six days, the beauty that is our world was created.
• Enoch's Disappearance
  • 5: 24
    • After living 365 years, God just took him
• The Flood
  • 7: 1 - 8: 22
    • Due to the wickedness that filled the earth, God decides he's going to send a flood to reset. Rain flows from the sky for 40 days and 40 nights, covering every inch of the earth. Noah, 600 years old at the time, had built a huge ark to house his family and multiple pairs of each type of animal. The earth was covered in water for 150 days before God allowed them to subside.
• The Tower of Babel
  • 11: 1 - 9
    • Humans are multiplying rapidly and they're all settling in the same area. They get the bright idea to build a tower as high as the heavens to make a name for themselves [insert eye roll]. God arrives on the scene and vetoes their plan by confusing their languages and scattering them all over the face of the earth.
• Sodomites Blinded
  • 19: 11
    • Two Angels visit Lot, but are interrupted by Sodomites who want to know the angels carnally. As the Sodomites are trying to bust down the door, they are blinded mid-mission! The door could no longer be found. 
• Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah
  • 19: 24 - 25
    • God punishes the city of Sodom and Gomorrah by raining brimstone and fire on it from the Heavens
• Lot's wife turns into a pillar of salt
  • 19: 26
    • While Lot and his family are fleeing Sodom and Gomorrah before it gets destroyed, Lot's wife turns around to watch the scene and 💥
• Isaac's conception
  • 21: 1 - 7
    • Isaac is gifted to Abraham and Sarah when Abraham is 100 years old
